Official 2v2 Tournament settings:

1. Map type Skirmish plains Map with normal settings.

2. No barbs, no City States, no Ruins

3. Drafting/Mirrored/Same civs by Official Rank

4. Great Wall is Banned

5. Eldorado split unless at war

6. All Civplayers Rules applies except:

7. Team settings: Since this is a 2v2, i will only put that a top 5 player can not team with another top 5 player. a 6-11 player can team with a 6-11 player or top 5 player. These are based on the Overall Rankings, not Teamer Rankings.

- Due to the fact that this is a tournament, we all expect for people to show up on time and ready to play. Everyone is given a week to play their games. Players have 15 minutes to show for a game, after 15 minutes that team forfeits NO exceptions. Saving a game and continuing it later will be allowed if it doesn't run over the due date and ALL players agree. There will be no subbing allowed. Everyone is implored to take screen-shots of anything that happens (drops, any suspected cheating or fowl play)

-As for dropping, once a game starts many things can happen, as long as a player makes an effort to complete the game, the game shall continue. Since this is a 2v2, there should not be as many drops. However i know that they can still be common and come in waves. 3 drops will be the maximum. Normally only 1 player drops, and you'll be able to see that, but if an entire team drops there should be a reload and no drops accounted for either team. After that, the team who is still in the game can either allow the game to continue (reload) or declare victory by default. If the players on that team have different opinions, an admin in the chat shall decide. Remember this is a tournament. We want to see games played to the end. If you suspect of a player dropping on purpose please take screenshots of it happening.

-Players are to arrange their games, not admins, players need to converse with themselves to play games.

-If there are any questions please feel free to ask myself or Canuck.

Correct me if I'm wrong but usually when there is a disconnect it always appears as if "the other guy" has disconnected. What I mean is both teams will still be in the game, just playing separate games against the AI. So this rule probably needs some clarification.

Entire teams disconnecting and the game splitting is rare even in Civ5, normally it is individual players that drop and that is evident as only one player will turn into a AI.  What your describing is only really a problem in duels not teamers.
