  • Pause button
  • Need to be able to take actions after end of turn clicked
  • Need to be able to customize number of players
  • N-city elimination option
  • Mods in MP
  • Moving stacked civilian unit and military unit together
  • Queueing up movement to an occupied tile so a new unit moves in when an old one leaves
  • Ping, draw on minimap
  • Ally research view
  • Customizable turn timer
  • Option to disable auto camera centering
  • Workers need to not give up and stop forever when blocked by another worker
  • If I have only one iron, I should be able to switch production from iron unit A to iron unit B, but I can't without picking another unit in between

That's a start after playing like two games.

Not being able to stack really makes it a pain in the ass.  Its funny that in Civ4 it was easier to control a 300 unit stack than it is to move 3+ units in Civ5 and takes much longer.

I wouldn't mind seeing the cost to get more social policy be cheaper.  This really gives a lot to the game if people could be adopting some policies more often.

Trading a resource to an ally takes a complete turn.

The unit cycling is pretty dumb as well.

just played for 4 hours... all that previous ppl say plus all tony wrote, it all ads up to one really pathetic game. It is a huge step back compared to a civ 4...

ill wait for some patches and fixes... till then Ill stick to civ 4. over and out.

- One city Elim is the option i am missing the most
- Beeing able to move after end turn
- Maps seems too huge (as they are made for CS on) but maybe we figure that out playing just one size smaller then we should

Also add to the list:

- An option to 'no unit cycle' - fast moving with keyboard spam is bad, but with a mouse and unit cycling is terrible. Fast moves seems to me more important then any other CIV, as each unit is so important.

- Host can change player teams

- Host can change settings once the game is in staging.

- Possibly stack non-combat units (I would like to see some stacking of combat units too but that would break the mechanics)

- A soft noise when someone types something

- When you are in the chat section, you stay there until you click off

- Can give worker/unit actions even once they have run out of moves for the following turns.

- 8 second delay reintroduced

- A game lobby, this is probably the most important feature missing.

I'll be making my list here too as we go of those things not mentioned above yet:

1. Ability to play on a smaller map than intended, so we could play on a tiny map with 6 people, for example. ( Not everyone wants to play with city states etc, so there is plenty of room! )

2. Multiplayer lag should be improved greatly, the game is unplayable with more than 6 people, and often very laggy with 6.

3. Ability to change the timer on the fly ( during the game ), in addition to being able to customize it.

4. Improvement to connection issues to other players.

5. Ability to play Direct IP - this is a big MINUS!! We can't even use hamachi now when we have connection troubles. Very bad!

Just one small addition to what everyone else is saying.

The messages you send need specificers about whether you're sending it to a person, to your team, or to all.
All they have to add in front of the message you send is something like: [To:All]

Also, just an interesting idea: if 2 people are speaking privately and aren't on the same team (e.g. an FFA/CTON), everyone else gets a message along the lines of "Player A and Player B are holding secret talks!" or something.

Instead of moving units 1 by 1 to be eaten, ability to queue moves into button X. When button X is pressed all queued moves would happen. Pure multiplayer ability which kinda must have with this kind of 1unit/tile structure
Maxfin - Civ MP
Nessu - WoW
Kerttu - Aion

There might be exploits to this one though, hmm.. or not. I guess there already are exploits to do this :D
