Can we add a separate reporting for OCC games?

With a different modifier possibly, since the games are a lot shorter.

they aint - they take AGES - dunno for me they r pretty much same as ctons, just even more boring. Both type of game can be fun in start be as longer they go on ...

CTON: (ID: #5697) Final Standings - 1. DiVerGenius (188) [+26], 2. therecanbeOnlyone (129) [+9], 3. Amschegar (653) [+9], 4. FiL[ESP] (184) [-35], 5. jkukic (29) [-121]
No one should lose 121 skillpoints for any loss, in my opinion.  Yowch!

well happens only to those with way overrated skillscore i guess, but yes that looks real weired. But in end we know - if u want keep his skillrating better dont fuck up ctons.

On topic: without depper insight into how all this system works there cant be a correct answer. But 0,4 or 0,5 from a duel looks pretty ok to me considering u get 6 or more reports at once. More d really be bs when looking at how much a single cton game can affect rating allready.

Anti-Theist: You have to be very unlucky to lose a 70%
my_dynamite-tk-tk2: rather loose and play my style

You could be the best CTON player and get unlucky with 2 opps with horse caps rushing you. You die and end up last.

There is always random chance, if we talk about percentage you win games, those who win many, will gain more score from now on with this change. IE those who gain ranks, those who lose might lose slightly more though. But overall it allows you a chance to gain much more.

So it will make people play ctons A LOT MORE. And on a positive note to that, now that ctons/ffa will be played a lot more, we may see a huge influx of new people to ladder from open games. If we promote ladder games right, and maybe host some on similar settings to open games.

which is just not true for everyone because the ratio of games you have to win vs the games you lose has to be ridiculously high in order to gain points - and that's the whole dilemma we're facing since we have the glicko system for Ctons. I don't think it's possible to win 80-90% of your Ctons unless you farm noobs on a daily basis. If you're in a game with good players you'd be happy to win 50% of your games. Now you make. the. math. (btw, good book ape :P)

none of the modifiers will be the proper fix for ctons.  Why make a poll voting for something with no correct answer?

Milo you are talking about losing points that you have gained in team games, which are easier for point whoring atm. If you play solely cton games, it doesnt happen like you stated. You just won't gain shit at all, so what does it matter how much you can lose?
