It's really sad that you take these forums/your little ladder power position so seriously.  Go read a book or visit the movie theater, seriously.

Well ---------- map checked in a teamer and we scrapped because of it.  Then ======== BSed his way to getting the game counted as a win! LOL

It is inappropriate to accuse people of cheating in the forum, especially when an Admin has already reviewed the case.  Such accusations should be made to the Admin team and they will be resolved confidentially.  There was no proof in this case so the complaint was dismissed.  It is totally unfair to people's reputations to allow such baseless accusations to be publically viewable.  If, and when, someone is convicted of cheating, then we make the appropriate announcement.

I note that jbadams is no longer a League member yet he continues to make spurious comments about players and admins in our forum. I am either editing them or removing them accordingly.

This topic is a serious one. Some of the comments that have been made however are not.

Don't think the thought didn't cross my mind.

However, I try to restrict and minimize any "censorship" to the actual posts that are offensive/improper.

If I deleted all prior posts made by everyone who ever quit the ladder, this forum would be reduced to half its size (or less). And some good posts as well as some meaningless ones would be lost.

Happy Holidays everyone,

i think someone actually got caught mapchecking firsthand today.  we were doing a reload and one of the players jumped into the 1/10 game w/ the same name and a player had loaded the game on the opposing team and was going through each tech quickly (animal husbandry, iron working) to see what his opponents had.

i'd like to think people don't do it, but im suspicious of a couple people.  one time, this top100 player on my team magically roaded to iron before we have completed iron working technology.  he just happen to 'guess right'.  one person who magically types out exactly what my stack is before it leaves my culture (no spies available, stack still in my culture)...

kind of disheartening that people would slum to such a level over a game.

another stupid move by firaxis allowing internet games to be loadable in a LAN setting... surprise they never just did a quick patch to change it, and make internet games and LAN games slightly different formats, so you can't just load them up like that.
