What does that matter? Of course Spart is the best player in this league. But he had Marr beside him, who isn't really known to be an expert in Modern ;D . Unlike Share and Matth, who have probably won more Modern events than anyone else (and yes, you subbed Matth out because you thought it was an easy win being 3v2)...

A good thing to do Imhotep is not to give your point of view as the truth when you obviously miss elements to have a good judgement.

Matth shouldn't have played modern, GG was planned on it but he warned us he would come a bit late. Indus team was between two games, Matth subbed him by the time he was able to enter the game, which happen about when indus final started.

Btw I don't think Spart is best player of the league. But he's on modern, certainly.

Btw2, we attacked Marr specifically.

Btw3, the LKT modern team won it more often than MDR's one. You were thinking of future i guess.

Okay, Mansurji, I will say you're right to whatever you say. At least I can understand Shizanu a lot better now.

Well, Matth was being shown on the league page's Game Monitor first in the Modern game and then in the Indu game. So he subbed out of the Modern when it was 3v2, which led to my assumption you subbed him out because it was 3v2 at that point. If you were scared of Spart subbing Matth out makes even less sense. But further discussion is not needed - it's moot to discuss with you anyway.

Well, when you tell an assumption don't use sentences like "and yes you did because of"...

I think Mansurji is unhappy at you suggesting we were too cocky and subbed matth out thinking we'd won.

While actually we subbed GG as soon as he came back, knowing it would be though against a dominant player like Spart, and Mansu pretty dead at the time.

You guys both great guy, just misunderstanding each other, play some 1v1 instead of arguing (sorry for the intervention).

Winning a 3v2 is pretty good IMO -  With Marr as a partner it's very impressive.

LMAO Tony

That was an awesome game!  ;D One of the kind you don't easily forget.

Spart is my Jedi Master  :P

On a thread related note,... I really couldn't care if someone needs to map check to beat me. I don't know if its because I am so leete or not, but I kinda enjoy the challenge even more thinking people need that  :)

Of course if you do have to map check... What was your win worth then? I can promise you, most map checkers will last maybe a month or two in this league... it will just get boring for em anyway. (Once you played awhile and know your opponents, you don't need to map check. Obviously its a select group of noobs doing this, if its being done at all, which I highly doubt)

The only way of effectively stopping map checking would require either a) a different MP architecture where you can only load and play MP games if you're connected with a master server that controls a specific ID for each game or b) a different save game format you cannot open in a LAN. Both ways are doable with a mod I think, but the effort is hardly justified by the gain.

Well Lestat map checked in a teamer and we scrapped because of it.  Then Lestat BSed his way to getting the game counted as a win! LOL

I guess you weren't serious about any of this if you're going to make this type of post.  Thanks for wasting everyone's time with a pointless thread.

Please re-read rule #19 on how to scrap a game.

Zhenon you are not even aware of the game that I'm talking about, as this happened long before your cyber-ego was gratified with a powerful post on the almighty Civ ladder.  Stop being such a know-it-all baby.  Please re-read Schwarzenegger's Rule #1 : shut up!!

lol, I thought you were making a snide remark to me regarding my last post to you.  I retract my statement  :)

However, your post was reported to moderator by you-know-who.  Perhaps you should retract your other post as well :P
