The people who need 3 days to figure out a report featuring them is wrong are the same lazy SOBS who don't confirm games in the first place.

I played a cton some hours ago. Five players, I was 3rd.
The game is reported by mike; I wanted to confirm, but there is some thing that
do not let me do it; the usual confirm box not there.

fed u must be loged on ladder to see that button
Bantams need 3 years to realize that...

Don´t go to "unconfirmed matches" in the main menu.

Login and scroll down. Bottom left, go to match confirmations. Tehre it is.

Well, not always.. The nice thing about 3 days confirmation time is that if someone is falsely reporting games, it increases the chance of them getting caught. Believe me, this has happened several times, and the perpetrators have been caught, partly because the person who had the games falsely reported against him had a chance to dispute the match, even if they were gone for a day or two.

TBS it was a case of duels am I correct? Where only 2 people are involved? In a teamer there are 10 people. You think it's possible for someone to keep faking 10 people reports and magically making sure 9 of those people were not online that day? I find it very unlikely.

No, but false teamer reports affect your rd. It has happened that people jsut invented teamer reports. More often though it happens that one name in a report is wrong - and people still confirming the game due to not checking or not remembering every single name.

Tony, you get a link directly to forum or do you go through the league webpage as I do?

If you do, it takes you 1 second to make 2 clicks!

Type: TEAMER - Reported by [PPP]Decebal on 2009-10-11, 15:44.
Rating:   -  2 vote(s)  -  your rating was 5 star(s)
Result: ScottishFury, Bonsai, Tony[UYP], Vox[SU], ArniDzhan lost against [PPP]Decebal, lporiginalg, footloose777, Buddy2x, [KC]Edu.
Confirmed by ScottishFury, ArniDzhan.
Still missing 1 confirmation(s) by Bonsai, Tony[UYP], Vox[SU].

Let me guess, you're just lazy, eh? Or you don't care, I've yet to see such laziness that you can't make 2 clicks.

Yes the current system doesn't cause the admins any additional work, and Lestat is right if we reduced the time to autoconfirm it would cause more work for the admins as players would not get the chance to decline incorrect reports.  I can certainly discuss larger penalities for cronic non-reporters, but I'm not sure that would enhance the league at all.  Perhaps a "positive re-enforcement" system would be better.  Something like rewarding people with 60% and above confirmation rates(over a month) with 20 skill points or something.......thoughts?  Details are of course just examples and can be tweaked easily.

CS

Good idea.  +20 is too high though of course

Cant remove confirmation altogether, Tony.. People need to be able to double check the accuracy of the report.

I meant just make it possible to decline only (no confirmations) ... Problem solved! Then reports will be as accurate as you can get them, even reports in the same hour will be reported in sequence.

It might be annoying to wait 3 days to get a report, but at least the ladder becomes that much more accurate and reduces the human lazy factor which you can never get rid of.

Also makes the system near impossible to abuse to get a big streak!

I'd rather give a penalty to non-confirmers if the game gets auto-confirmed. A 1% skill drop might be a good motive for confirming quicker ;D ! And it's way easier to code too...

I did as Jobe told and I confirmed was logged on.
And I tried again with the same result:
No box and in red letters "Pending inquiry!".
