I though RAY never won the 3 CCC in a row because (knupp?) forgot to put his alarm clock... ???...or was that a legend ?

Anyway, since that doesn't count, we have yet to see a clan win 3 in a row :P I know LKT were 1 future final away of that, and PPP was pretty close too just after that :attack:

They are CIV3 CCC's – I don’t know why they don’t use separate numbering - The games are not even remotely similar.

The CCC was invented during civ3 and many players played both leagues.  Then civ3 players didn't want to associate themselves with civ4 people and went back to their own numbering.  Who knew C3P would last this long?  :o

RaY certainly did win 3 CCCs in a row.  I'm thinking it was Gogf who forgot to set his alarm, but I really don't remember which CCC that happened in and what the after effect was.

I do have screenshots of RaY winning those 3 CCCs in a row if you need any convincing :).

The even numbered CCC's all disappeared before BTS?

C3P had the even-numbered CCCs and C4P had the odds. But when I first started putting things together, I kept trying to do it by CCC number and later chose to do it by date, because what I kept seeing just didn't make sense to me. This had me really, really confused for a while.

I got some strong feelings on this one, so let me try to say it diplomatically. When C4P started and many of the players left C3P for C4P, it left some of C3P discontented and they wanted the CCC's to be handed back to the active players there. They voted that the CCC belonged to the civ3players, as it was started there, and they disregarded all the C4P CCCs. To get rid of the gaps where the two leagues alternated even/odd CCCs for a while, they went back and renumbered them. The CCC in December 2007 was the last joint effort between the two leagues and C3P started sequentially numbering their CCCs, much like C4P did for the first BTS CCC. If you check out the full CCC Analysis thread, you'll see the wonkiness in numbers and dates that was really perplexing until I got some help on it.

I found some really nice players over at C3P. I think it would be fun, and a classy gesture, to organize something we can do jointly between our leagues, maybe on an annual basis or something. What that might be, I'm not sure though.

Well, we all gathered for a CCC under the name of LKT, which we did astonishingly good in, think +70 pnts, probably our biggest score.

Then, we just changed our name, and turned into crap.
