having reflected i would like to withdraw any insinuation that fly are cheaters. i was just angry at the circumstance, as it seems a little dumb that they can basically hit any city on the entire map with 5 generals, and on top of this we do not know they can and hence are not defending them.

i guess i was also angry that the trick was for the first time ever used in a game against us, and now that everyone knows about it, it will never be so powerful again as people will just defend against it.

gg anyway - it was a gg up to that point

Thank you for this post rokkit, I knew you posted on the heat of the event, and that's why I've expressed my disappointement about their reaction to my teammates.

I understand it's frustrating to die to such a trick the first time, just like it was frustrating for them to have use this new trick and see it explained within 5min on the forum. -When PPP figured out the Nuke trick couple of CCC ago, we only discussed it afterwards-.

Anyway, this is a good one IMO, and it will keep the possibilities a little bit more open in the late game in the later eras. 8)

At least Rokkit died to a new tricks, I died to "old" 5 moves galley general in medi having twice enough army to defend anything they could throw at me. :(

GG, see you next CCC!

After hearing about this, gotta say im very impressed with the move, and a bit shocked that nobody had tried it before. It sounds like one of those things that you brainstorm in wild scenario play that you never have any practical use for. I mean, who actually saves 5 generals till the end of the game just for a move like that? It's like one of Marr's pipedreams.  ;D

Nice job, Share, you've shown why you have such a great reputation in this game!

To be fair, it's Matth's idea. He told that to me a month ago, and i told share to do this with those commandos.
Thanks for your last post Rokkit.

If you want a more competitive CCC, you should make all the "tricks" public instead of keeping them for you ;D I guess what we call a trick is a game unintended behavior and not a strategy, they should either be banned or revealed to the whole community...

There aren´t any (more) of those in the CCC. That´s the first I´ve heard for some time now - at least from those that not "all" know.

Culture Bug for example was described excessively here - you still need to know how to best "exploit" it, but that´s open for everyone to be able to see opportunities for it during a game.

When rules change, like removing the ban on Commandos, unintended circumstances arise.  I think commandos should be banned anyway.  It is just a cheap trick anyway and shows little skill, but lots o luck.

I'd disagree and say commandos are what keeps these events so vibrant and interesting. WATCH OUT (every turn) :o

Plus there are "moves" how to provoke the option for commandoing.
