Time Converter on Ladder Page
« on: June 10, 2009, 05:06:37 PM »
When the CCC is going am I the only one who is confused as to when the events start?  Would it be possible to put a Time Converter on the page?

The World Time Server web site does have an applet that I can embed a CST clock on in the Annoucements that people can see in real time.  Remind me and I'll code it for the next CCC.

Actually every tournament page does display current server time, and well as the start time for the event, and you can drop down the time and change the time zone, I think the problem is that people don't know what their time zone is relative to UTC, ie UTC -4 is EST right now.

You got it. The way I do it is look at the current server time, my clock, then server starting time and add the time remaining to the local time :)
