Donate Link to Civplayers leagues
Posted By: CanuckSoldier on 04-07-2012 at 18:54:12

You will notice we have added a Donate Link to the main left menu, it is simply a link to the Civplayers PayPal page for now.  So if you are not already a Premium and have donated just send me an email and we will add you in the database, eventually this will all be automated as DTA revamps a lot of the back-end code on the league.  Becoming a Premium member does have advantages, like not getting purged and having your skill fade from inactivity at half the regular rate, and more will be added as we progress threw the leagues code.

2K Greg has announced the release date for Gods and Kings!
Posted By: CanuckSoldier on 04-07-2012 at 13:58:48

Quote
It's always exciting to announce a release date. It's one of those things that everyone asks for when they're looking forward to an upcoming game, ever hopeful that it's sooner than they fear, and I always have to encourage them to be patient and that the announcement will happen when we're ready. So when I finally get to announce it, I really enjoy it.

What's even more exciting than announcing a release date, however, is announcing a release date that is a mere 10 weeks away. That's right, Civilization V: Gods & Kings will be available in North America on June 19, and internationally on June 22!
